Job summary

Sam's Club seeks a Controllership professional to manage financial accounting flows, ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements. You will work with internal and external auditors to uphold standards and support business planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with finance partners and shared services to deliver timely, data-driven insights and strong internal controls across reporting and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close and reconciliation processes, including balance sheet fluctuations and P&L analysis.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes and transition activities to shared services.
• Execute key internal controls and coordinate with auditors on control processes.
• Build and maintain relationships with business and finance partners and shared services.
• Support day-to-day business needs and research related to transaction flows and financial results.
