Job summary

Sam's Club is seeking a Manager, Inventory Management to lead coordination and oversight of inventory activities, drive improvements, and ensure compliance. You will manage P&L, forecasting, budgeting, and develop associates while partnering cross-functionally to optimize returns, recalls, and supplier agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.
• 1 year’s experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee inventory management activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support inventory plans and initiatives.
• Manage profit and loss for inventory, performing analysis, forecasting, and budget monitoring to meet financial targets.
• Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all inventory processes.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities and promoting adaptability and learning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and optimize inventory operations.
