Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership roles.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP, monthly close, reconciliations, reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven success improving accuracy, discipline, and process rigor in fast-paced environments.
• Cash management instincts and forecasting visibility.
• Experience owning AP, AR, payroll, and GL at scale.
• Experience with QuickBooks, payroll systems, GreenSlate, NetSuite, or similar.
• Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills.
• Experience leading audits with external partners.
• Ability to work hands-on while leading a team.
• Bachelor’s degree; CPA preferred.

Aufgaben

• Own all core accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, and month-end close.
• Lead the preparation of weekly and monthly financial statements, close packages, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, timely, and compliant with U.S. GAAP.
• Build and maintain a disciplined close process with clear timelines, ownership, and review standards.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, approval workflows, and finance operating procedures.
• Own real time production finance needs around per-video budgets, cost reports, overages, wrap reports, and cost-per-video analysis.
• Own 13-week cash reporting, AP/AR aging, and short-term cash flow visibility for leadership.
• Oversee accounting system integrity across QuickBooks, payroll systems, GreenSlate, and NetSuite.
• Ensure bills, vendor records, payment workflows, and balance tracking are handled accurately and on time.
• Partner with HR and Operations on payroll reconciliations and finance process compliance.
• Serve as the finance partner to production, helping teams understand constraints while maintaining operating needs.
• Lead audit readiness and manage internal and external audits from planning through resolution.
• Manage, and develop the accounting team with clear standards, ownership, and accountability.
• Identify breakdowns early and drive corrective action.
