Qualifications

• 8+ years accounting experience in Manufacturing/MRO.
• Experience leading and mentoring accounting staff.
• Experience with Government Contracts, cost-plus and fixed price contracts.
• Ability to review, report, and present financials to executives.
• Hands-on with financial statements, cycle counts, and audits.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting functions including AP, AR, cost accounting, payroll, cash management and inventory.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, government contract requirements and internal controls.
• Develop staff and mentor accounting team while improving business processes.
