Job summary

The Controller role at Sheboygan Paint Company is a senior finance leadership position responsible for accurate U.S. GAAP reporting, strong internal controls, and driving profitable growth across the business.

You will lead accounting, reporting, treasury, budgeting support, and analytics while partnering with operations, R&D, sales, and executive leadership. You will develop the accounting team, ensure policy adherence, and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Manufacturing experience and cost accounting knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate, timely US GAAP financial reporting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and tax deliverables.
• Oversee inventory reporting and processes.
• Oversee internal controls, policies, and financial governance.
• Manage insurance renewals and risk-management documentation.
• Lead treasury activities: cash, banking compliance, liquidity planning.
• Direct AR, AP, and general ledger process discipline.
• Partner with CFO and leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
