Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting function for a growing, multi-entity business with visibility to ownership and opportunities to drive process improvements and growth.

This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls, while partnering with leadership to improve reporting capabilities and support budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will manage and develop the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting leadership experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end close processes.
• Experience managing accounting operations and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close.
• Manage financial reporting, general ledger activity, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to improve accounting processes and reporting capabilities.
• Lead and develop accounting team members.
