Job summary

Straub Collaborative is seeking a Controller to own the accounting function for the studio and affiliated entities. You will lead a small accounting team, report to the CFO, and drive improvements in processes and controls while ensuring accurate financial information to guide strategy and profitability.

Responsibilities include leading the month-end close, budgeting, payroll entries, intercompany accounting, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience; 2–3 years in a controller/manager role.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and close processes; solid internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly close, prepare statements, and variance analysis for CFO review.
• Maintain rolling cash forecast and annual budget.
• Record payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll liabilities.
