Job summary

Pine Services Group is seeking a strategic Controller to strengthen accounting leadership across our decentralized portfolio. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with Pine's finance team and operating company Controllers to drive rigor, develop talent, and build scalable processes and controls.

This is a high-impact, strategic role focused on multi-entity consolidation, banking and treasury optimization, and expanding our accounting organization across the Pine portfolio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience (Controller level) across multiple entities.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience mentoring accounting professionals and leaders; ability to develop talent.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation, intercompany accounting, and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting leadership to Controllers and accounting teams across Pine's operating companies.
• Strengthen close processes, financial reporting, accounting policies, controls, and overall financial discipline.
• Mentor and develop Pine's accounting team and operating company leaders to build capabilities.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen internal controls and support IPO readiness and financial reporting rigor.
• Establish scalable accounting policies, procedures, and best practices across a growing, decentralized portfolio.
• Support the integration of newly acquired companies into Pine's accounting framework.
