Job summary

Peregrine Technologies in San Francisco seeks a Controller to partner with the CFO and scale the accounting organization for the next stage of growth. You will manage external audits, evolve finance systems, policies, and controls, and help build infrastructure to support rapid expansion.

The role requires technical judgment and operating experience in high-growth tech, with the ability to align cross-functional partners and prepare the company for public-company readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant progressive accounting and finance experience in high-growth technology companies.
• Experience leading external audits and building scalable close, reporting, controls, and accounting processes.
• ERP systems implementation or optimization, including NetSuite.
• Public company and IPO-readiness experience preferred.
• Big 4 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale Peregrine's accounting organization, including GL, revenue, AP, AR, financial reporting, and related accounting operations.
• Own and improve the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide technical accounting leadership across complex matters including subscription, services, and consumptionBased revenue.
• Lead the external audit process and establish sustainable audit and reporting processes.
• Build accounting policies, internal controls, and governance for growth.
• Oversee NetSuite implementation and finance infrastructure modernization.
• Support international expansion, including new entities and global consolidation.
