Job summary

Blue Sage Services LLC in Oklahoma seeks a Controller to lead daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls. You will own the monthly close, oversee WIP and job-cost details, and partner with operations for accurate cost-to-complete estimates.

The role requires a bachelor's in accounting/finance, 7+ years of experience with 3+ in a controller-level role, and expertise in construction and project-based accounting, ERP systems, and financial reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 7+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in a controller or senior leadership role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, construction and project-based cost accounting, and WIP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close calendar and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee project cost accounting, WIP management, and job-cost reconciliation.
• Manage AR/AP, billing, cash forecasting, and working capital optimization.
• Lead payroll processing, tax filings and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and coach accounting staff to strengthen internal controls.
