Job summary

Freshpack is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the Finance function and collaborate with the President & CEO. You will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow while driving operational improvements and informed decision-making.

This role partners with HR leadership and operational teams, develops scalable processes, and helps shape growth as the company expands manufacturing and packaging capabilities.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.

Responsibilities

Lead accounting and finance function including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
Oversee financial statements accuracy and internal controls.
Coordinate audits, tax, insurance, and banking activities.
Partner with operational leaders to improve profitability and decision‑making.
Develop reporting around labor, inventory, productivity, margins and performance.
Lead Accounting Supervisor and HR Supervisor; build scalable processes.
Support HR compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and payroll controls.
