Job summary

Versique Executive, Professional, & Interim Recruiting seeks a Controller to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and the control environment. The role partners with management and oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, treasury, tax, audits, and the accounting team.

The position requires extensive experience in equipment finance, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and leadership to drive internal controls and accurate financial decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 10+ years progressive accounting experience in equipment finance preferred.
• CPA certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead audits and coordinate with external CPA firms and lenders.
• Oversee treasury, cash management, and banking relationships.
• Manage borrowing-base calculations and covenant compliance.
• Oversee lease portfolio accounting, analytics, and collections processes.
• Develop internal controls and safeguard company assets.
• Lead and develop the accounting team; supervise staff across functions.
• Support international accounting and VAT needs where applicable.
