Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Contract Specialist/Administrator to support the Washington Navy Yard. The role focuses on acquisition documentation, procurement packages, and contract modifications while ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Navy policies.

A DoD clearance is required. The position requires full-time work at the Washington Navy Yard, collaboration with technical leads and program managers, and interaction with contracting officers to drive timely

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting or equivalent field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Government Finance and Acquisitions.
Experience with Navy/DoD acquisition systems strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with development and coordination of acquisition documentation (SOWs, IGCEs, J&As, D&F).
Support drafting, review, and submission of procurement packages and contract modifications.
Track contract actions and provide status updates to leadership.
Collaborate with technical leads, financial analysts, and PMs to ensure alignment across functions.
Interface with contracting officers and government stakeholders to enable timely contract execution.
Contribute to meetings with acquisition updates and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition regs (FAR, DFARS, Navy policies).
