Job summary

NYSERDA seeks two Contract Manager roles to support procurement, contracting, and reporting in a high-volume government contracting environment. You will handle planning, solicitation development, negotiations, administration, closeout, and regulatory reporting to minimize risk while delivering value.

Responsibilities include guidance across planning meetings, scoring, evaluations, and debriefs; collaboration with legal counsel; and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience in contracting, procurement, or related disciplines.
• Good technical comprehension of contract language and ability to apply it to contracts.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and analyzing procurement, contract, or operational reports.

Responsibilities

• Interpret procurement needs and requirements and advise teams on appropriate procurement approaches.
• Manage solicitation development, contract negotiation, and contract closeout activities.
• Develop and maintain procurement and contract reporting, including status updates and workload metrics.
• Support evaluation and adoption of AI and automation tools to improve contract processes.
