Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Associate, Contract Manager to join the Enterprise Supplier Management team in Plano, TX. You will draft, negotiate and manage third-party contracts, aligning terms with business objectives while mitigating risk across the enterprise.

You’ll collaborate with legal, compliance and data security teams, driving deals to completion in a fast-paced procurement environment. Travel may be limited, with incentive opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Military experience.
• Juris Doctorate or at least 1 year of experience in contract drafting, evaluation, negotiation, and execution.
• Juris Doctorate.
• 1+ years of experience in Procurement, Legal or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and/or redlining contracts to protect Capital One from risk using industry best practices and stakeholder resources.
• Negotiate with suppliers to align contracts with Capital One standards and objectives.
• Manage transactions proactively, drive deals to completion, and serve as the central contact for each contract.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders—business lines, legal, compliance and data security—to identify material risks.
• Collaborate with the ESM team and other stakeholders as appropriate.
