Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Contracts in Springfield, NJ to lead contract administration, review terms, and ensure compliance across the organization. This on-site, permanent role reports to senior leadership and oversees a contracts staff to provide timely, compliant responses to major customers.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in contracts, strong negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of FAR/DFARS; familiarity with Exostar/Haystack Gold is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contracts Management, or related field.
• Eight to ten years of progressive experience in contracts administration or government procurement.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial and government contracts; strong compliance knowledge.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, DPAS, and supplier questionnaires is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration and negotiation for major customers across units.
• Review POs for negotiated terms, government requirements, DPAS, export, and FAR/DFARS.
• Oversee RFP/RFQ/RFI reviews and negotiate favorable terms for the company.
• Manage order transmittals, certifications, and supplier questionnaires as required.
• Maintain contract records and training requirements; supervise the contracts team.
• Coordinate with outside legal counsel on contractual matters; manage NDAs.
