Job summary

Virginia Health Information (VHI) in Richmond is seeking a Business & Compliance Manager to unify contracts, compliance, and organizational administration. You will report to the COO and partner with executives, program teams, and outside counsel to shepherd agreements from draft to renewal.

This builder role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with BAAs, DUAs, and vendor contracts, plus the ability to translate regulations into practical business processes

Qualifications

• Have five or more years of progressively responsible experience in business operations, contract administration, regulatory compliance, policy management, or a related field.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, Legal Studies or a related field, or bring an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have worked with BAAs, DUAs, and vendor contracts and know how to carry one from draft to signature to renewal.
• Can read regulations, contract terms, and policies and turn them into practical business processes.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the administration of VHI's agreements, including BAAs, DUAs, and vendor agreements.
• Managing each agreement from preparation through review coordination, routing, execution, renewal, and ongoing maintenance.
• Sending agreements to counterparties, tracking redlines, and coordinating with decision-makers.
• Keeping executed agreements stored, named, and organized to VHI standards and managing timely renewals.
• Maintaining and improving contract tracking processes for accuracy and currency.
