Job summary

PCL Construction, Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Contracts & Commercial Risk in Phoenix to lead the finance and commercial risk team across the district. The role combines financial leadership, risk management, contract compliance, and negotiation on behalf of the company.

Ideal candidates will partner with operations to drive outcomes, manage risk, and ensure disciplined financial practices while mentoring teams for development and succession planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, commercial risk, contract management, or project-based environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with legal, contractual, commercial risk, or claims-related matters preferred.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Construction or related industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance and commercial risk team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Manage and enhance district financial reporting, forecasting, and business planning processes.
• Drive cash flow management and working capital improvements.
• Oversee insurance, bonding, and performance securities to meet contractual requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks across the project lifecycle.
• Lead contract reviews, drafting, and negotiation activities to protect PCL’s interests.
