Job summary

AbbVie’s Talent Acquisition team has an exciting opportunity for a contract Senior Recruiter to support the Research & Development organization. The Senior Recruiter will lead full life-cycle recruitment, sourcing top talent, and partnering with hiring managers to drive results.

The role requires strong sourcing capabilities, data-driven decision making, and experience negotiating offers, with the potential for strategic cross-functional collaboration across HR partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of full-life cycle recruitment experience in a competitive, demanding, high-volume environment; 5+ years preferred.
• Sourcing experience with various tools/methods.
• Ability to build strong business partnerships and influence leadership.
• Experience executing complex offer negotiations including equity or incentives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full life-cycle recruitment for one or more R&D functions.
• Identify and attract top candidates; manage a diverse slate.
• Maintain applicant tracking updates and report hiring metrics.
• Provide consultative guidance to hiring teams during recruitment.
• Establish partnerships with hiring managers and leadership on TA topics.
• Prepare and present offer packages; deliver offers and negotiate terms.
• Communicate recruiting data and market trends to team leaders.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and AbbVie policies.
• Manage project timelines across cross-functional HR partners.
