Job summary

APR Consulting Co. is seeking a CONTRACT PROJECT MANAGER to join our team in Denver. You will support the Client Solutions group by staffing projects, developing pricing and scope, and ensuring deliverables are planned and delivered on time and within budget.

You will partner with Group Directors and stakeholders to guide scoped deliverables and optimize profitability, while challenging processes to drive continuous improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years experience as a Project Manager in advertising/marketing.
• PMP Certification or actively pursuing certification.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Experience with Deltek Workbook or Deltek products is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
• Calm under pressure; strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Effective decision-maker with diplomacy and relationship-building ability.
• Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Client Solutions account performance, including labor tracking and billing accuracy.
• Ensure scopes, deliverables, and services align with business objectives.
• Conduct impact analyses for scope changes and determine next steps.
• Develop understanding of client scopes of work, cost outs, and billing requirements.
• Lead retrospectives and refine portfolio management processes.
• Proactively balance core responsibilities with client/internal engagements.
• Support PMO leadership and provide peer coverage when needed.
• Coordinate resource allocation and optimize utilization across accounts.
• Track project/retainer actuals against SOW hours and deliverables.
• Lead effort to achieve project objectives and manage tasks within scope, time, and budget.
