Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Contract Pricing Analyst to develop, analyze, and maintain pricing structures for customer and carrier contracts. You will bridge Sales, Carrier Sourcing, and Finance, ensuring pricing accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability across long-term freight agreements.

The role supports negotiation strategy with data-driven insight, monitors pricing compliance, and collaborates on contract terms that affect pricing. Strong Excel, SQL/BI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of pricing, revenue management, or analytics experience in freight/logistics/3PL
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, modeling
• Familiarity with TMS platforms (McLeod, Trimble, MercuryGate, etc.) and freight market data sources (DAT, SONAR)
• Ability to translate data into clear pricing recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication for cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Carrier Sourcing, and Finance

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain contract rate structures for customer freight agreements
• Analyze historical freight data and market rate trends for pricing
• Prepare pricing proposals for RFPs and bid responses
• Model margin impact and flag deals outside profitability thresholds
• Monitor contract pricing compliance and resolve discrepancies
• Track profitability and recommend renegotiation when margins erode
• Maintain pricing databases/tools with up-to-date rate cards
• Conduct market benchmarking to validate pricing against market conditions
• Support renewal cycles with performance analysis and renewal recommendations
• Collaborate with Legal/HR/Finance on pricing terms that carry implications
