Job summary

Cajun Industries is seeking a Senior Recruiter to drive full-cycle recruiting for field operations in a fast-paced construction environment. You will source, screen, interview, and extend offers while coordinating with project managers and department heads to forecast hiring needs.

You will shape recruiting processes, maintain candidate pipelines, and ensure compliance with labor laws. Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or recruiting-related field preferred; experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
• Two to five plus years of related experience and/or training.
• Experience in an industrial/construction setting is preferable.
• Must be familiar with heavy industrial construction crafts.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to source, attract, screen, and interview candidates with technical backgrounds.
• Computer literacy.

• Assist with full-cycle recruiting for field operations.

• Forecast hiring needs with project managers to develop sourcing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Oversee onboarding processes and related documentation.
• Mentor recruiters and recruiting coordinators.
• Lead special projects like onboarding improvements or recruitment marketing.
