Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical materials.
• Ability to read project specifications and source accordingly.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders and review requisitions.
• Maintain vendor contacts and negotiate pricing.
• Track deliveries and ensure on-time shipments.
• Monitor costs and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with project team on long lead items.
• Attend start-up and regular WIP meetings.
• Work with accounting to authorize payments and manage expenses.
