Job summary

Fortis Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee industrial construction projects in Tulsa, driving cost estimates, scheduling, procurement and vendor management. You will coordinate with design and engineering teams and ensure adherence to budgets and quality standards.

The role requires strong financial acumen, experience with multiple contracts and the ability to mentor team members while maintaining relationships with owners, staff, vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of construction management experience in industrial settings.
• Business degree in a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years with profit and loss responsibility on multiple projects.
• Able to read and interpret construction documents.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word), PDF and estimating and document programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design and engineering to keep projects within financial guidelines.
• Develop and monitor job progress schedules to parallel the plan.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for scope compliance.
• Issue and manage subcontracts; review subcontractor/payments requests.
• Procure materials to ensure cost, quality and specs compliance.
• Visit jobsites weekly and lead progress meetings.
• Lead safety reviews and maintain safety documentation.
• Prepare reports: status updates, schedules, billings and stakeholder reports.
