Job summary

Harbor Fab seeks a Project Manager in Fort Worth, TX to oversee daily management, coordination and successful completion of construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget discipline and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include turnover from estimating, vendor/subcontractor management, cost tracking, scheduling, and maintaining project files. Regular status reporting to leadership is required, with travel about 10% to shop locations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of steel and equipment manufacturing.
• Knowledge of construction processes, procurement, costs forecasting, scheduling and close-out.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and contract documents.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to present strategies and results in meetings.
• Develop/manage internal and external relationships.
• MS Office Suite and MS Project proficiency.
• Construction Management/Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead turnover from estimating/sales.
• Manage vendors, subcontractors, change orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Track and manage project costs, budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain electronic project files and organize project folders.
• Plan and conduct client communications and internal kickoff meetings.
• Report weekly on project status and key milestones.
• Ensure contract documents and invoices align with budgets.
