Job summary

Parkway Construction & Architecture in Lewisville, TX seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from inception to closeout. You will own schedules, budgets, and client/subcontractor relationships, delivering on time and within scope.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience, proficiency with Procore and MS Office, and a proven ability to bid, negotiate, and manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
• Ability to bid, negotiate, and prepare scopes for subcontract agreements.
• Create and manage construction schedules, manage RFI’s and submittal process.
• Proficient in Procore and common scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and verifying constructability of plans and specs.
• Creating and enforcing a construction schedule with daily tracking and monthly look-ahead.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Initial project estimates, bidding, and qualifying subcontractors.
• Preparing scopes of work and recommending subcontractors for contracting.
• Sending out invitations to bid and managing the bidding process.
• Negotiating scopes and final contract amounts; handling change orders.
• Responding to RFIs or submittals and related questions.
• Directing and managing Superintendents and Project Engineers on-site.
• Implementation of strict construction safety practices.
• Verify compliance with plans and specifications; host weekly/monthly jobsite meetings.
• Review monthly subcontractor invoices.
• Attend monthly budget draw meetings and cost-to-complete.
