Job summary

Cogent Talent Solutions seeks a Project Manager to lead client projects in Detroit, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and aligned with scope. You will oversee scheduling, field personnel, subcontractors, and reporting while maintaining safety standards.

You will develop plans, manage risks, and coordinate with stakeholders to drive project success and continuous improvement, including safety and quality measures. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on construction experience.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate degree or equivalent in a construction-related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant construction project management experience.
• Ability to read project specifications and manage OSHA safety requirements and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute construction projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate schedules, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure projects stay on time and within budget while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Prepare regular status reports and manage changes to scope, costs, and timelines.
• Lead project teams and enforce safety protocols in line with OSHA requirements.
