The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on construction accounting, job costing, and cost analysis.

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on construction accounting and project costing.
Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting principles.
Experience reviewing project budgets, contracts, and change orders.
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain project accounting records for multiple construction projects.
Track project costs, budgets, commitments, and change orders.
Analyze job cost reports and investigate variances.
Prepare project-related financial reports and forecasts.
Reconcile project accounts and ensure accurate cost allocation.
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
Review invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and budget compliance.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions as needed.
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
