Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, subcontracting processes, and project procurement requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using procurement or accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders and subcontracts aligned with approved scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Solicit, review, and analyze vendor quotations to assess pricing, lead times, and value.
• Ensure procurement activities align with submittals, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with project management, field teams, and suppliers.
• Monitor lead times and identify procurement risks, delays, or supply issues.
• Maintain purchasing records and tracking logs, providing regular status updates.
• Support cost control by identifying purchasing efficiencies and competitive sourcing.
• Foster and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
