Job summary

RealManage is seeking an experienced construction professional in Illinois to join our team. The role focuses on writing scopes of work and developing RFPs, guiding clients through complex construction projects with strategic, consultative advice.

You will draft comprehensive scopes, develop detailed RFPs, collaborate with architects and engineers, review bids, and manage construction administration, documenting changes and maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction management with emphasis on scopes of work and RFP development.
• Ability to act as trusted advisor to clients guiding them through construction projects.
• Illinois resident or willing to relocate to Illinois for the role.

Responsibilities

• Draft comprehensive scopes of work for various construction projects, ensuring full coverage and alignment with client goals.
• Develop detailed RFPs to solicit bids from qualified contractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project requirements and standards.
• Review bids, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor performance on behalf of clients.
• Oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
• Manage construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily logs.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with plans and specs.
• Maintain project records and communicate changes effectively to all parties.
