Job summary

Leader Communications Inc. (LCI) is seeking a Construction Manager to lead early-stage strategic planning, infrastructure scoping, and financial modeling for large-scale facilities.

You will translate requirements into robust project proposals and coordinate with senior engineers to achieve executive-level approvals. The role requires on-site work, strong cross-functional facilitation, and the ability to maintain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, structural, or civil engineering or equivalent experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 8 years of combined experience in industrial/commercial construction cost estimation and design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates new infrastructure requirements and guides capital improvement projects from initial concept through the formal justification phase.
• Coordinates multi-disciplinary scoping charrettes with stakeholders to develop layouts, preliminary calculations, planning charrette reports, and economic analyses.
• Generates Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) cost models utilizing parametric cost engineering systems, breaking down line items into standardized industrial divisions.
• Evaluates and rates facility and utility sub-systems according to established criteria.
• Analyzes facility utilization, space requirements, and updates long-term site development plans within a digital Comprehensive Planning Platform (CPP).
• Customizes master guide specification templates into site-specific engineering documentation with trade leaders and internal specialists.
• Coordinates reach-back engineering support for multi-disciplinary design calculations and inputs metrics into sustainability software logs.
• Executes assigned technical deliverables autonomously with high quality output.
• Leads multi-disciplinary scoping charrettes and coordinates with stakeholders to optimize real property footprints.
