Job summary

Leader Communications Inc. (LCI) is seeking an Engineering Analyst to perform early-stage strategic planning, infrastructure scoping, and financial modeling for large-scale facilities and real property assets. You will translate requirements into robust project proposals for executive approval and report to the Senior Project Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 8 years of combined specialized experience and education in facility planning, design, and estimating.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry Certification (active or must be obtained within 90 days).
• US Citizenship with security clearance requirements (Tier 3 clearance preferred).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate infrastructure requirements and guide capital improvement projects from concept to justification.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary scoping charrettes with stakeholders and prepare planning reports & economic analyses.
• Generate ROM cost models using parametric cost engineering systems.
• Assess facility and utility sub-systems against performance criteria.
• Analyze space utilization and update long-range site development plans in CPP.
• Customize master guide specs into site-specific docs with engineering specialists.
• Coordinate energy data and sustainability metrics for reporting.
• Produce technical deliverables with minimal managerial direction.
• Draft supporting documentation and real property realignment briefs.
• Lead scoping charrettes to define floor plans and spatial boundaries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize real property footprints and community planning.
• Evaluate underutilized assets and plan decommissioning and disposal strategies.
