Related Ross is seeking a Construction Cost Manager in West Palm Beach, FL to lead cost reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across development, construction, accounting, and legal teams.

The role requires 3–5 years in real estate development or construction management and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management. It offers a path to growth within a leading urban development organization based in Florida.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate development or construction management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field. Master’s degree may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• General - act as intermediary between development, construction, accounting and legal to produce financial/cost reporting.
• Ensure compliance to established processes and procedures for all cost processes.
• Reporting – manage weekly and monthly cost reporting for internal management and external partners.
• Transform estimates/proformas into the project cost code structure.
• Maintain ACR cost code structure with transfers, new cost codes, and budget tracking.
• Prepare cost analyses and forecasts for stakeholders.
• Maintain deep understanding of hard and soft cost budgets and contingencies.
• Report on contingency usage and procurement holds.
• Manage and report on change events log for hard and soft costs.
• Track Holds and collaborate with procurement on budgets and exposures.
• Incorporate anticipated risk into cost analysis and projections.
• Collaborate with development/design/construction teams to create and review estimates.
• Prepare cash flows and update regularly.
• Support procurement in budget verification; assist in close-out with cost data.
