Job summary

CBRE is seeking a qualified Cost Estimator in Dallas to develop accurate construction cost estimates from concept through final documents. You will support the Cost Manager in building a comprehensive Project Cost Plan and coordinate with clients and project teams on cost requirements.

You will research regional pricing, perform quantity take-offs, and benchmark costs against market data. Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills are essential for timely reports and meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing detailed cost estimates from conceptual design to construction documents.
• Ability to develop cost plans and participate in value engineering to meet budgets.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present cost information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate construction cost estimates in BOQ or similar format from concept through final documents.
• Research regional pricing for materials and labor using market data and benchmarks.
• Interface with clients and project teams to define cost requirements and provide recommendations.
• Lead design reviews and value engineering to achieve budget targets.
• Prepare bid analyses and peer reviews of estimates from other teams.
