Job summary

OCMI, Inc. in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Cost Estimator to join our growing team of construction management professionals. You will perform detailed quantity take-offs, review drawings, and develop cost estimates aligned with client goals.

You should have 2–5 years in cost estimating for vertical construction, proficiency with OST and Excel, and strong communication. Hybrid work options and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of cost estimating experience in construction projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings and understand project scope.
• Proficiency with OST or similar takeoff software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed quantity take-off and preliminary pricing for diverse construction projects.
• Review drawings and interpret project scope to inform estimates.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates/models aligned with client goals.
• Support document control, file management and project collaboration.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures to ensure a quality client product.
• Research and source cost information from vendors to maintain accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with project teams and stakeholders.
• Represent OCMI at local AEC industry events and build relationships.
