Miller Valentine Construction in Dayton, OH, invites an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to identify and secure new opportunities in alignment with our growth objectives. You will lead client acquisition, market research, and cross-functional pursuits to deliver compelling solutions.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with pre-construction and execution, maintain CRM insights, and build influential relationships with owners and partners to win strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 10+ years in BD; at least 5 in BD and 3 in PM.
• Strong design-build and lifecycle knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation.
• Self-motivated with strategic mindset.
• Ability to influence and build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SVP to align BD strategies with goals.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities via market research.
• Build relationships with clients and influencers for partnerships.
• Prepare strategic pursuit plans for high-priority targets.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver client solutions.
• Coordinate with pre-construction and execution teams for smooth handoffs.
• Serve as a resource on product and market knowledge for prospects.
• Share market and client insights internally.
• Maintain CRM with contacts, deals, and intelligence.
• Attend targeted trade org meetings to develop relationships.
• Engage in community leadership roles to raise profile.
