Job summary

Leidos is standing up a new Agile development team in the Washington, DC area to modernize federal IT infrastructure. You will lead configuration management and release governance across multiple environments, coordinating with DevOps, cyber, data, and product teams.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, strong leadership, and experience with CM/release planning in complex, security‑minded programs.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Experience leading CM/release planning and cross‑functional coordination.
Strong knowledge of Agile/DevOps and CI/CD practices.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and related tools.

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end configuration management across all environments from development to IL5/IL6 production.
Own CM plans, release procedures, baseline controls, governance models, and change workflows.
Manage release calendars, readiness criteria, deployment windows, cutover and rollback planning.
Coordinate release planning across engineering, DevOps, cloud, data, test, cyber, and operations teams.
Facilitate release readiness reviews and configuration control boards.
Ensure release packages are complete and well-documented with traceability.
Maintain environment baselines for non‑prod and IL5/IL6 targets.
Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable controlled promotion and artifact retention.
Coordinate DoD‑aligned security requirements and STIG configurations.
Develop release dashboards, metrics, and health indicators.
