Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Configuration Analyst to support the NSWC Crane Hypersonic Systems Engineering Team in developing CM processes, authoring documentation, and applying CM best practices for a hypersonic program transitioning CM from the Lead Systems Integrator to the Government.

The role requires coordinating with government and contractor teams, performing FCAs/PCAs, maintaining baselines, and enabling data-driven solutions, with onsite, hybrid options in Crane, IN, Huntsville/DC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years' experience.
• Experience with Product Life Cycle Management and Data Management, and Software CM Tools (Windchill, DOORS, JIRA, SharePoint).
• Interim clearance required; ability to obtain secret clearance.
• US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist CM lead in formulating strategic CM ideas for the program.
• Apply CM practices to evolving baselines and ensure configuration items are correct and compliant.
• Interface with government and contractor teams across systems engineering, hardware, software, and logistics.
• Track changes, prepare change documentation, facilitate review boards, and maintain data packages.
• Perform FCAs and PCAs and establish product baselines.
• Coordinate with logistics and program management to reflect changes in TDPs.
