Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Configuration Analyst to support the NSWC Crane Hypersonic Systems Engineering Team by developing and implementing Configuration Management (CM) processes, authoring documentation, and applying CM best practices for a hypersonic developmental program.

Position may be onsite at Crane, IN or remote in Washington, DC or Huntsville, AL. Candidate will track system development, manage baselines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure compliant data and change processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Product Life Cycle Management, Data Management, and Software CM Tools (Windchill, SharePoint, DOORS, JIRA).
• CM Leadership experience on development and sustainment programs; DoD Acquisition experience preferred.
• Interim clearance required with ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Formulate CM strategy for the program, including HWIL environments.
• Apply CM practices to evolving baselines and ensure items are correct and complete.
• Coordinate with government and contractor teams across engineering, logistics, and program management.
• Perform configuration audits (FCAs/PCAs) and maintain baselines and data packages.
• Prepare change documentation and facilitate change review boards.
