Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Strategic Deals Lead to shape and execute partnerships with hyperscalers and cloud providers for compute capacity and model distribution. You will originate, structure, negotiate, and close multi-year agreements, spanning finance, legal, and go-to-market terms, with a focus on scalable infrastructure partnerships.

You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership to align terms with Anthropic's technical and business needs, driving strategic growth

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in strategic deals, corporate development, partnerships, investment banking, or business development at technology companies or hyperscalers with direct transactional ownership.
• Direct experience working with or inside a hyperscaler on AI or cloud partnerships, including familiarity with model gardens, marketplaces, co-sell programs, and partner economics.
• Experience managing multiple high-value transactions simultaneously at different stages of maturity and commercial development.
• Working understanding of capital markets and vendor financing, including how large infrastructure commitments are financed.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including building and stress-testing economics for large infrastructure projects.
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where market structures and partnership norms are evolving.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and deal pipeline expanding Anthropic's access to compute and infrastructure.
• Lead the full deal lifecycle for large-scale cloud and compute transactions from opportunity identification to close.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships at hyperscalers and cloud providers.
• Structure and negotiate product, go-to-market, pricing, revenue-sharing, and financing terms.
• Translate engineering requirements into commercially viable deal terms with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor market and technology developments and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
