Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Nashville, TN is seeking a Compliance Operations Specialist to act as a strategic execution partner to the SVP/CECO and to support enterprise compliance across Ethics & Compliance, Privacy, Culture & Values, and Regulatory Compliance. You will drive project management, governance, and scalable processes in a demanding healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required or preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, healthcare, project/program management, or a related environment.
• Experience managing complex projects with executive-level visibility and multiple stakeholders.
• Healthcare or highly regulated industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic execution partner to the SVP/CECO translating priorities into clear project plans and milestones.
• Lead or coordinate cross-functional compliance projects and initiatives.
• Develop workplans, timelines, governance structures, decision records, and status reporting.
• Anticipate risks and dependencies; escalate issues and propose practical solutions.
• Maintain a portfolio view of major initiatives to aid prioritization by leadership.
• Prepare executive‑ready briefings, dashboards, and materials for governance forums.
• Support governance bodies with agenda development and action tracking.
• Coordinate for leadership and board meetings by synthesizing complex information.
• Support policy exception management and standardization.
• Perform legal and regulatory research and paralegal-style support when needed.
• Collect and validate information to evaluate compliance issues and program effectiveness.
• Assist in developing multi-year workplans and risk mitigation activities.
• Analyze processes to simplify and improve operational effectiveness.
• Draft high‑quality communications and maintain professional integrity.
