Job summary

Stefanini Group in Chicago seeks a Compensation Manager to develop and administer compensation programs for salaried and hourly staff, lead annual salary planning and incentives, and oversee job evaluations across North America.

The role requires 5+ years in compensation, strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Hybrid schedule, location at 200 E Randolph St, with two days from home.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years’ compensation experience in Operations and Plant Manufacturing
• People management experience strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of compensation theories, program design, and applicable laws
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or HR certification preferred
• Korn Ferry Hay Job Slotting experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business software

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly compensation initiatives and resolve complex compensation queries
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to shape compensation strategy across North America Operations and Procurement
• Provide expert guidance on job evaluations, market benchmarking, salary structure development, and incentive plan design and administration
• Support HR business partners and leadership on a range of compensation-related matters
