Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Manager, Compensation Programs & Incentive Administration to design, implement, and govern enterprise compensation programs.

You will serve as the subject matter expert for salary, market pricing, and incentive plans, partnering with executives to ensure equitable pay. You will lead cross-functional Total Rewards initiatives, drive accuracy in funding, and influence executives and HR leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and collaborate across teams.
• Knowledge of compensation structure, policies, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead external market research and analyses to ensure market competitiveness of Total Rewards programs.
• Oversee complex Total Rewards projects with internal and external partners.
• Direct internal teams to deliver Total Rewards programs and services.
• Administer annual and short-term incentive plans across business units.
• Lead bonus calculations, payout governance, and plan communications.
• Partner with Finance, HR, and leadership to ensure accurate incentive funding.
• Support development and implementation of sales, management, and executive incentive programs.
• Conduct market pricing studies and compensation benchmarking analyses.
