Job summary

The Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University seeks a part-time Program Administrator, Community Partnerships to develop and execute a strategy that deepens community partnerships for education, research, and practice.

You will lead outreach, manage collaborations with community partners and government agencies, and coordinate with Tisch College teams on internships, curricula, and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience OR Associate’s Degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in Tufts’ surrounding communities, in organizing, community health, planning, education, the arts, or a related field.
• Experience managing collaborations and projects within and across organizations.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to building inclusive and just communities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute goals and a strategic plan to enhance and deepen multi‑disciplinary partnerships for education, research, and practice.
• Lead community outreach and manage partnerships and collaborations with key community partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with teams across Tisch College to support student internships, research projects, curriculum and course designs, convenings, and more.
• Manage timelines and expenditures and participate in evaluating and learning from collaborations.
• Manage public communications with community partners and represent Tisch College at events.
• Attend community events, including fundraisers and forums to learn about needs and emerging issues.
• Attend team meetings and other regular programming across Tufts to develop professional competencies.
