Job summary

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community seeks a senior administrator to direct and coordinate multiple departments under the Community Manager. The role includes evaluating operations, promoting interdepartmental cooperation, and presenting reports to the Community Council.

The position emphasizes mentoring management staff, defending organizational efficiency, and ensuring timely, compliant outcomes across programs. A master’s level/related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred with seven or more years of progressively responsible experience managing a large organization.
• Supervisory/managerial experience with Native American government or enterprise is desirable.
• Ability to mentor and develop management staff and build organizational capability.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates operations of assigned departments.
• Develops actions to encourage interdepartmental cooperation and provides leadership across the Community.
• Prepares reports, conducts analyses, and makes recommendations for improvements and efficiency.
• Mentors and supervises management staff to build skills for informed decision-making.
• Ensures compliance with deadlines and budgetary constraints and evaluates program effectiveness.
