Job summary

Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants is seeking a Community Manager to lead the strategic development and daily management of our online member communities. You will foster meaningful member interaction, knowledge sharing, and peer networking while aligning activities with TXCPA's goals.

Partner with internal teams and volunteers to drive engagement, manage content, and ensure an inclusive, high-value member experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, PR, or related field.
• 3+ years in community management, member engagement, or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using data and analytics to measure performance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps and web collaboration tools.
• Project management experience with cross-functional leadership.
• Ability to work independently with teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive community engagement strategy.
• Maintain content and engagement calendars supporting membership and events.
• Foster member participation through discussions, webinars, polls, and Q&A sessions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to source relevant content and subject matter experts.
• Moderate discussions and enforce community guidelines.
• Recruit and support volunteer leaders and ambassadors.
• Monitor metrics and use feedback to improve programs.
• Administer and optimize online community platforms and workflows.
