Job summary

Sierra Vista Child & Family Services seeks an experienced Community Outreach Manager for its Administration office in Modesto, CA. The role leads outreach, communications, branding, and partnerships to raise awareness and referrals.

The manager will supervise a small team, align with program directors, and drive strategic community engagement and fundraising initiatives. A 4-year degree is required, with $85,000–$98,000 yearly base pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, public relations, community engagement, or related work.
• Two or more years of supervisory or project leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and represent an organization effectively in the community.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to establish systems, manage priorities, and follow through.
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, behavioral health, education, or human services preferred.
• Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, sponsorships, or community partnerships.
• Experience with digital communications, social media, websites, CRM or donor databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop agency resources and conduct formal agency wide trainings.
• Lead leadership development concepts in staff oversight, coaching, and development.
• Manage day-to-day operations and ensure personnel compliance including hiring and timesheets.
• Collaborate to develop and expand department services and track relevant metrics.
• Build strong community partnerships and ensure consistent follow-up with partners.
• Engage donors and sponsors to grow unrestricted funding for programs.
