Job summary

Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) in West Valley, CA seeks a dedicated Community Engagement/Outreach Coordinator to serve as a liaison between CSI and local officials, community-based organizations, and the public.

The role involves coordinating events, conducting outreach, documenting activities, and supporting program goals across a multi-contractor site, with an hourly rate of $26.45 and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related field required.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively independently and as part of a collaborative team; demonstrates leadership by example.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and GoToMeeting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with community officials to support agency initiatives.
• Represent CSI professionally at public and community engagements.
• Understand CSI programs to ensure accurate representation and compliance in outreach activities.
• Cultivate partnerships with community-based organizations to expand CSI presence.
• Coordinate and participate in public relations activities, including speaking engagements and community events.
• Identify, plan, and implement community service projects aligned with agency goals.
• Document and report outreach activities and outcomes to leadership and funders.
• Maintain regular communication with QA Subcontractor Coordinator and Program Director III to align outreach with goals.
• Provide support for team functions and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
