The incumbent will monitor budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare grant reports while guiding development opportunities and ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must obtain lead abatement supervisor certification within 60 days of hire.
• Lead inspector risk assessor certifications required or achievable within 60 days.
• Thorough knowledge of municipal community development objectives and programs.
• Graduation from a four-year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation, administration, and monitoring of all Community Development grants and projects.
• Oversee Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Program and/or CDBG Emergency Repair Program.
• Coordinate with homeowners, inspectors, and contractors to develop work specifications and ensure compliance.
• Prepare RFPs/IFBs and review proposals and bids; oversee vendor contracts and invoicing.
• Maintain eligibility and/or National Objective documentation and prepare quarterly grant reporting.
