Arizona State University’s Rob Walton College of Global Futures seeks a Communications Coordinator to assist in creating content for the website, news outlets, and paid campaigns, while coordinating with media relations to promote college activities.

The role supports the Assistant Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications in developing and implementing college communication strategies, programs and materials for projects, engaging internal and external constituents including faculty,

Qualifications

Associate's degree and 1 year of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of marketing principles and media relations is preferred.
Familiarity with ASU brand guidelines and AP style is desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing communications projects to ensure consistent messaging and support goals.
Advise on effective communications and public relations matters.
Contribute to recruitment, enrollment and retention communications efforts.
Participate in strategic communications planning for college projects and initiatives.
Serve as a writer and editor for PR efforts including ASU News and websites.
Develop materials and content across a range of platforms.
Determine target markets and create collateral from concept to completion.
Coordinate content updates with college and schools.
